The Kanyakumari district administration is ready to meet any eventuality in the next few days when heavy rain is predicted in the State, according to Flood Monitoring Officer and Managing Director of ELCOT Atul Anand. Mr. Atul Anand inspected Pechiparai, Perunchani dams and also the brimming rivers Tamirabarani, Paraliar and Kothaiyar along with Collector Sajjansingh R. Chavan and Inspector General of Police, K.P. Shanmuga Rajeswaran and other officials on Sunday.
