The DMK has nominated a mix of young and old faces in the delta region for the Assembly election. Party president M.Karunanidhi will lead the charge contesting from Tiruvarur, sitting MLAs G.Anbazhagan, Govi. Chezhian and T.R.B. Raja have been re-nominated from Kumbakonam, Tiruvidaimarudur (reserve) and Mannargudi constituencies.
